Owner and Executive Chef Giancarlo “Wendy” Cacciatori takes great pride in selecting only the highest quality ingredients, importing the most acclaimed products such as Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, Mortadella, Aceto Balsamico and much more.
Love and passion are prerequisite ingredients for all of our recipes. We strictly maintain our traditions, therefore, if you can’t find a dish in Emilia Romagna, you won’t eat it at Nonna Beppa.
Our mission is to bring about the positive emotions, in the hopes of transporting you to those happy memories, where you forget that you’re in a restaurant in NYC, and feel like you’re at your (Italian) grandma’s house for Sunday lunch.
All our pastas are homemade in the dining room by our Sfoglinas, who prepare fresh Ravioli, Gnocchi, Tagliatelle and other typical pastas of the Emilia Romagna region every single day.
Crowd favorites include our famed Tortellino, sealed to perfection by the hands of our Sforglinas, followed by the traditional Lasagna in Bolognese sauce, the homemade Piadina with Stracchino and Prosciutto di Parma, as well as the Gnocco Fritto, also known as Crescentina.
The wine list includes gems from across numerous Italian regions. Naturally, you’ll find the traditional Lambrusco and Sangiovese, which pairs easily with our seafood specialties.
Nonna Beppa is suitable for all occasions, from birthdays to bachelorette/ bachelor parties, and weddings to corporate events. Our generously-sized dining room allows for large groups or cocktail receptions.
We also have a little-known private dining room for two in the wine cellar. Check out our private dining room tab for more information.
Located in west Soho in Manhattan, Nonna Beppa promises you authenticity and an unforgettable experience.
